It’s so easy to get wrapped up in our own little worlds—work, social media, emails, and endless to-do lists. Every now and then, something snaps us out of that bubble and reminds us that there are people in our community with real needs, real struggles and real stories. This festive season, our team have been involved in a range of activities to support those in need. We’re proud to have been able to contribute to Crawley Open House, Addingham Primary School, City of London Primary Academy and The Heights Primary School in this month.
Supporting Crawley Open House
Crawley Open House is not just an organisation, it is a hope for people who are in the most difficult stages of their lives. From giving a person a safe place to lay down and sleep, or a meal to eat, to someone to listen to them, they are covenant keepers in the community. It’s very inspiring to see how they work as the services they give are not only useful, but in some instances lifesaving.
As for this Christmas season, Goaco could not but want to do more than just pay a tribute to the work of Crawley Open House. We decided to get involved and provided sleeping bags for them and their cause. It’s a small thing, yet it might bring some relief and warmth to those in need in these cold nights of winter.
Homelessness and adversity are problems that can seem immense and complex. However, there are many ways to get involved, contribute, or help. Every act of kindness, big or small, is significant.
For Crawley Open House, the fight against homelessness and hardship is a process that takes place daily. They are not only meeting people’s basic needs such as food and shelter; but also helping to meet people’s needs for stability, respect and the ability to go on and create a better life for themselves. It is a noble cause and one that deserves support not just for a particular time of the year but all year round.

Bringing Digital Magic To Young Minds with “Get with the Program”
It was our pleasure being able to sponsor an exciting exercise for students at 3 different schools: Addingham Primary School, City of London Primary Academy, and The Heights Primary School. In partnership with Get with the Program, we are bringing the fun of coding into the classroom with a virtual coding panto. The students will be transported into a fantasy world where they are assisting AL the Robot to learn the art of coding while embracing the joy of storytelling.
This is not just about coding; it is about the development of imagination and the demonstration of how technology can be used in a creative manner. We are happy to present this exciting activity that allows the children to develop basic coding skills while being encouraged to come up with out-of-the-box ideas. At Goaco, we are convinced that such opportunities can create and nurture a passion for innovation throughout the course of one’s life. In this way, we are helping the spirit of creativity by introducing the children to technology in a fun and non-threatening manner; thus, helping to shape the technological leaders of the future.

Our responsibility in the community
It is always great to work with organisations such as Crawley Open House and Get with The Program. Not just for the sake of doing so called corporate social responsibility, but to actually make a difference. We must admit that the world does not revolve around a single person or an organisation. That’s why the health and well being of the communities in which we work is very important to us and we are keen to ensure that everyone can contribute to improving it.
At Goaco, it has never just been about providing services or achieving goals. It is about making a difference in the society and the organisations we serve. For us, supporting Crawley Open House or Get with The Program, is not a one-time thing, it is an extension of what we believe in: action, understanding, and service that encourages a positive change.
These partnerships are just the starting point; we will keep on supporting them and encourage other people to do the same.
