About the Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS)
Dorset Council have set up a DPS to help build an innovation ecosystem of local, national and international partners across public sector, academia, research and industry, to deliver digital innovation.
- This DPS will allow the council to:
- Identify organisations looking to work with it/partners on digital innovation initiatives
- Make organisations aware of opportunities to work with the council and its digital innovation partners
- Publish details of services and projects to allow organisations to compete for opportunities
- Contract with organisations in an open and transparent way which meets procurement regulations and supports the council’s strategic aims
- Grow the Dorset innovation ecosystem
