Joe Rowe says “ I was grateful to receive sponsorship from Goaco for the 1st of the UKLA Qualifier events held at the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing academy.
Ahead of the events starting I had been working hard training on and off the water.
Having the sponsorship from Goaco gave me a confidence boost, knowing that a company like them were willing to help in supporting me to work towards achieving my sailing goals was amazing.
The logos looked great on both the hull and the sails – they definitely got noticed!
This turned out to be one of my best qualifying events, I achieved some of the best results I’ve had so far resulting in an 8th place overall and 1st Under 19yr old – my first top 10 overall at a qualifier!
Since then, I’m pleased that I have continued to achieve some great results, such as 4th in the UKLA national inland championships and 2nd place at the recent ILCA youth winter open championships.”
