Machine Learning is a subset of AI that involves training algorithms to learn from and make predictions based on data. It enables systems to learn from experience, improve their performance over time, and make decisions with minimal human intervention. Machine Learning can be broadly classified into three types:
- Supervised Learning: The algorithm learns from labelled data and makes predictions based on that training. Examples include spam detection and image recognition.
- Unsupervised Learning: The algorithm identifies patterns and relationships in unlabelled data. Examples include clustering and anomaly detection.
- Reinforcement Learning: The algorithm learns by interacting with an environment and receiving feedback in the form of rewards or punishments. Examples include game playing and robotic control.
Machine Learning is widely used in applications such as recommendation systems, predictive analytics, and natural language processing.
