Position Overview:
Goaco is an IT Management Consultancy who execute projects within the UK Private and Public Sector have expanded our operations to the Middle East successfully and to further solidify our already established presence, we are seeking a skilled and driven Pre-Sales Manager with extensive experience in IT sales and technical expertise.
As the Pre-Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between the sales and technical team, driving customer engagement, and ensuring that our solutions align with our client needs. This is a key leadership position where you will be responsible for managing pre-sales activities, leading technical discussions, and presenting tailored solutions that address the unique challenges of our clients. Based on-site in Dubai, this role requires a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to the growth in the UAE region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and develop tailored technical solutions that align with their business objectives.
- Lead pre-sales activities, including technical presentations, product demonstrations, proof of concepts (PoCs), and responding to RFPs/RFIs.
- Provide in-depth knowledge and expertise on cybersecurity, SOC, penetration testing, and software development to support client discussions and solution development.
- Engage with clients to identify pain points, assess technical requirements, and propose appropriate solutions.
- Design and document solution architectures, including hardware, software, and integration aspects.
- Coordinate with technical teams (engineering, product development, and delivery) to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and align with company capabilities.
- Support the sales process by creating high-quality presentations, proposals, and sales collateral that highlight the value and benefits of our solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings in the cybersecurity and software development space.
- Lead technical workshops and training sessions for clients and internal teams to enhance product and solution knowledge.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and partners.
About You:
- Proven experience in a Pre-Sales role with a focus on IT sales, preferably within the cybersecurity, SOC, penetration testing, and software development domains.
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, threat detection, incident response, SOC operations, ethical hacking, and secure software development practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience in conducting technical assessments, crafting solution architectures, and creating compelling proposals.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly understand client needs and propose effective solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in leading client engagements, managing pre-sales cycles, and closing deals in a competitive market.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with regional market dynamics in the UAE and the broader Middle East is a plus.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or relevant technical certifications in cybersecurity and software development.
- Prior experience working with enterprise clients in the Middle East, particularly in Dubai or the GCC region.
- A background in technical consulting or sales engineering within an IT or cyber security-focused organisation.
