Goaco supporting Youth in Edinburgh, Scotland with Monarchs Speedway Academy

Community

Goaco is committed to supporting initiatives that empower and enrich communities. That’s why we’re proud to join forces with Edinburgh Monarchs Speedway as their Youth Development Partner for 2024.  Our collaboration with the Monarchs extends this commitment to nurturing young talent in sports, particularly within the realm of speedway.

Our support will directly benefit the Club’s Northern Junior League sides, who will now proudly bear the names Armadale Goaco Angels and West Lothian Goaco Wildcats. Additionally, we’re excited to extend our backing to the Monarchs Speedway Academy (MSA), further strengthening their efforts in youth development.

Over the years, the Monarchs’ youth development system has been steadily growing, and the partnership aims to propel this progress even further.  With Goaco’s support, the MSA will be able to offer increased opportunities for local young people, allowing them to engage with and excel in the exhilarating sport of speedway.

Not only is it an endorsement of what we are already doing, but they have the shared vision of working with our community and supporting us towards furthering our objectives around social inclusiveness and allowing young people to participate and progress in speedway.”

Monarchs Development Director, Gordon Campbell added, “It has been a pleasure to work with Gaurav and the team at Goaco to bring this terrific partnership to life. We are striving to grow both the Monarchs along with the sport of speedway and developing new young riders is critical to this. The support of Goaco will enable us to enhance our youth development programmes which is fantastic boost to the club and the local community.”

At Goaco, we’ve always believed in the power of youth sports to foster camaraderie, discipline, and personal growth. This partnership with the Monarchs aligns perfectly with our ethos of supporting local youth initiatives.

Our CEO, Gaurav Malhotra, shared his excitement, saying, “This is a truly exciting time, as Goaco collaborates with the Academy, where we are united in our vision to empower the younger generation within the wider community to engage in a sport filled with a deep-rooted history.”

We’re honoured to embark on this journey with Edinburgh Monarchs Speedway and look forward to making a positive impact together.
