Project requirement

The supplier and business area collaborated independently to develop a solution within a confined environment for EVHS, limiting governance/assurance processes. This initiative lacked architectural supervision and did not incorporate a comprehensive plan for the seamless delivery of the service into the public beta phase. Our team was engaged as a partner on behalf of DfT Digital Services to design a transition that co-ordinated accessible ways of communicating issues to OZEV, with the user of a service desk at DVLA and architecture support from DfT.

Solution & Result

Efficiently responding to ministerial requirements, our subject-matter-experts successfully delivered a cost-effective solution for back-office operations within a rapid 6-week timeframe. To ensure a streamlined process, we allocated a dedicated solution architect, business analyst and client-side delivery manager. This dynamic team engaged key stakeholders, provided crucial assurance, and meticulously developed an end-to-end plan. The plan, designed with precision to account for all dependencies, incorporated quality assurance checkpoints, ensuring a robust and effective solution delivery. The EVHS service passed Private and Public Beta asssessments.
